Services
Aquatic Therapy
Aquatic Exercise Therapy (AET) is the union of aquatic exercise and physical therapy.
It is a comprehensive therapeutic approach that uses aquatic exercises to aid in the rehabilitation
of various conditions. An integrated program consisting of aquatic and land-based exercises can achieve goals
of physical therapy sooner than land-based exercise alone. AET is one of the only treatments that can increase range of motion
without the compression of weight bearing and can encourage patient confidence; thus helping to speed patient recovery.TOP
Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy
Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy are a major focus of work at our facility.
The program's goal is to help the patient regain strength, endurance and flexibility.
Achieving these goals will enable patients to return to their athletic activities with improved health and fitness.
Prevention is an integral part of all our programs. Unique to the center are objective testing procedures including
Cybex isokinetics, functional capacity evaluations and sports specific analysis. TOP
Women's Services, Pelvic Pain and Incontinence
Many people are surprised to find that problems like urinary and/or fecal incontinence
pelvic floor dysfunction are common. In fact, about 25 percent of all adults suffer from
one or more of these conditions during their lifetime. There is really no need to feel embarrassed
or hopeless. With the appropriate medical assistance, there is a very good chance that any of these
situations can either be improved or cured. This treatment program includes state-of-the-art therapy
that works in conjunction with medicinal and/or surgical intervention. While not a replacement for surgery or
medication, the incontinence and pelvic floor program offers a safe and inexpensive alternative.TOP
Pediatric Physical Therapy
Pediatric physical therapy focuses on helping to improve or restore motor functions, decrease postural deviations and help
a child achieve maximum level of performance in activities of daily living in the home, school, as well as socially.
Our goals are to help the child improve strength, gross motor skills, range of motion, balance and coordination and to achieve
age-appropriate developmental activities. TOP

may be utilized to improve balance and stability and may also help prevent future injuries.TOP
